What Does Substance Use Disorders Treatment Look Like?
Your recovery journey is unique, and we tailor our services to meet you where you are. We provide treatment to help manage withdrawal symptoms, reduce cravings and support your recovery. Care can be confidential, or family can be involved.
Personalized Care From the Start
We work closely with young people ages 12 to 25 years to create a tailored plan that addresses each person’s unique needs. Treatment options range from medication-assisted treatment to personalized counseling and therapy options. Through SURP, you’ll have access to the following resources.
Comprehensive Substance Use Evaluation
Our team evaluates your needs, considering substance use and mental health. We then use the information we gather to create an individualized care plan.
A Multidisciplinary Team
You’ll work with a team including a physician, nurse and social worker—each working to guide you through recovery.
Medical Treatment for Substance Use Disorders
Our program offers medication-assisted treatments to support your recovery. Medications help manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings, making the journey more manageable. Medications may include:
- Buprenorphine products
- Naltrexone products
- Nicotine replacement products (nicotine gum, patch, lozenge, etc)
- Varenicline
- Bupropion
- N-Acetylcysteine
- Naloxone
Medication Management for Co-Occurring Mental Health Issues
We can manage mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. While we don’t currently offer therapy services, our team can connect you to care within the community.
Harm Reduction Counseling
We understand that not everyone is ready or able to stop using substances right away. Our harm reduction counseling focuses on minimizing risks and promoting safer choices. This allows you to work toward your goals at your own pace.
