What specific services does the clinical program offer?
The Thrower's Analysis was developed with both the injured and healthy baseball and softball player in mind. Our program is staffed with highly trained physical therapists who are adept at evaluating and treating a wide-range of throwing injuries such as:
- Little League Shoulder
- Little League Elbow
- UCL Tears and Sprains
- Scapular Dysfunction
- Shoulder Pain
- Elbow Pain
- Tendon injuries
- Muscle injuries
Athletes receive a comprehensive full-body evaluation that includes strength, range of motion, and individual throwing mechanics to identify any issues that may lead to injury or decreased performance. All athletes receive an individualized plan that includes throwing mechanic correctives with videos along with drills for improving strength and range of motion. The goal of the Thrower's Analysis is to return athletes to their active lifestyle, decrease risk of future injuries and improve performance.

The Cincinnati Children’s Thrower's Analysis is made up of physical therapists who not only have multiple years of experience treating throwers but also played at a high level themselves. Our team understands the demands and stresses of the game. We combine this with our expertise in physical therapy treatment for throwers to best treat young athletes. Our team also lectures locally and nationally to help improve throwers' health and rehabilitation across the United States. It is our passion to ensure our throwers get healthy faster and stay on the field longer.

Our Ready to Play Program
Our Ready to Play Program is dedicated to ensuring your youth athlete is ready to play his or her sport safely at the highest level possible. This fee for service program is focused on enhancing sports-specific performance and reducing risk of injury in your healthy athlete.
Who would benefit from the program?
Athletes who are pain-free during and after their sport who want to improve technique or performance.
