NjoyItAll 2025 Camp

All children like having fun. That's why Cincinnati Children's has created a week-long camp for our patients with cancer, blood diseases and immune disorders.

NjoyItAll Camp is an opportunity for kids ages 7-17 to develop new skills, form lasting friendships and build self-esteem. Perhaps the greatest benefit is the opportunity for children to connect with others who are facing similar challenges.

You may attend Teen Week if you are a patient, age 12-17, or Kids Week if you are a child, age 7-12. You must be a patient who has been seen in the Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute at Cincinnati Children's two or more times within the past 24 months, or the 5+ Survivorship Clinic once in the past 24 months.

Patients are eligible if they fall under the following diagnosis group:

  • BMT (must be 1 year post-BMT)
  • Hematology
  • Hemophilia
  • Leukemia / Lymphoma
  • Neuro Oncology
  • Sickle Cell
  • Solid Tumor
  • Type 2B VWD, Type 3 VWD
  • Vascular

What activities will my child participate in while at camp?

Campers participate in many fun activities such as; swimming, fishing, canoeing, yard games, ropes courses, group campfires, cooking activities, musical activities, nature walks / hiking, exploring animals, and various arts and crafts projects! All activities offered can be modified for your child if needed. Your child will get the full experience of being tech-free while camping.

Is there a cost for NJoyItAll camp?

Through the generous support of the Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute, the Tri-State Bleeding Disorder Foundation and other donors, there is NO COST to attend camp.

How can I sign my child up to attend?

The Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute's NjoyItAll Camp is by invitation only. Patients will receive an email from cbdi.camp@cchmc.org with information about registration in February. Follow the instructions to obtain information about registration. Registration will be open for one month.

How is your camp handling COVID-19?

Campers are not required to be COVID vaccinated, but all other pediatric vaccinations are required to keep our immunosuppressed patients safe.

Required Vaccinations in order to attend camp:

  • HEP B Vaccine
  • HiB Vaccine
  • MMR Vaccine
  • Pneumococcal Vaccine
  • Pollio Vaccine
  • TDAP Vaccine
  • Varicella Vaccine

Religious exemptions are not allowed.

**Medical exemptions are allowed. A letter must be submitted and signed by a Cincinnati Children's physician approving the exemption.

When Will I Hear Something?

Once your registration is complete, all information will be reviewed by the camp medical team. Each camper must be medically approved to attend camp.

Reservations will be held based on the date in which registration was submitted. A limited number of spots are available, and once full, applications will no longer be accepted. As of May 2025, all spots will be secured. You will receive an e-mail after registration is complete confirming your application was received. The camp director will be in contact by e-mail to discuss the next steps.

Siblings: patients can choose to bring a sibling of similar age to camp with them. Sibling information will be included during the registration process.

It is offered for one sibling to attend camp for the week along with the patient. This gives them a chance to spend time with their brother or sister and share in the experience together. When including a sibling for camp, he or she has to be in the same age group as the patient. (For example, if a patient is 14 and the sibling is 11, the sibling would not be able to attend because the age groups are 7-12 and 12-17.)
