Join the Lab
The Rothenberg CURED Lab at Cincinnati Children’s, supported by the Campaign Urging Research for Eosinophilic Diseases (CURED), has openings for several postdoctoral fellows, particularly focused on genetics, genomics, artificial intelligence, chemistry and immunology. There are also opportunities for summer research. Visiting scientists and sabbaticals are welcome. For further information about the Rothenberg CURED Lab's research, visit our Current Projects page.
Research in the Division of Allergy and Immunology
The Division of Allergy and Immunology at Cincinnati Children’s strives to provide the best treatment of allergic and immunologic disorders and conducts leading research focused on elucidating the causes, mechanisms and most effective treatment of allergic and immunologic diseases. Our research spans basic studies, translational investigations, genetic and genomic analyses, big data analyses (informatics) and clinical trials. Novel models of immunologic diseases, developed and/or fine-tuned by divisional researchers, provide unprecedented systems to investigate key inflammatory steps involved in allergic and immunologic disease and to enhance our understanding of adaptive and innate immunity. These include analyses of individuals and a focus on mast cells, eosinophils, epithelial cells, lymphocytes, macrophages (e.g., Kupffer cells), and epithelial cells. Our integrative laboratories are led by nationally recognized researchers and employ state-of-the-art systems for genetic, epigenetic, biochemical, immunologic and physiologic analysis. Our division is dedicated to educating the next generation of leaders in allergy and immunology clinical practice and research. We have outstanding clinical and research fellowship and postdoctoral programs and mentor students of several graduate programs. The division has a high-energy, dynamic and interactive environment. We are interested in recruiting self-motivated individuals with the drive to succeed and the desire to be competitive at the international level. Candidates with a strong background in immunology, molecular biology, informatics, genomics, cellular biology and signal transduction are encouraged to apply.
Research at Cincinnati Children's
Cincinnati Children's is an affirmative action / equal opportunity institution. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.
