The Advanced Cardiac Life Support Courses (ACLS) given by Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center present information and skills training needed for the management of serious cardiac emergencies and arrest in the adult patient. Small group teaching is emphasized, and use of the human patient simulator is included.
We offer ACLS in an online module that will take approximately eight to 12 hours to complete. This is followed by skills testing at the Center for Simulation and Research at our Winslow location. The online module and access key are emailed to paid course registrants immediately upon registration. Participants are required to bring documentation of completing this online module to participate in the skills testing portion and to receive the ACLS certification card.
