Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information for Primary Care Offices
Cincinnati Children’s Primary Care Offices remain open during the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. It is more important than ever that your child stays up to date on immunizations and well care. The American Academy of Pediatrics and our team know that maintaining medical care on schedule is essential, especially in the time of a pandemic. We are available for check-ups, routine follow-ups and sick visits.
Keeping you and your child safe is our top priority. We are taking extra precautions to keep you and your child safe while in the office. We screen all employees, patients and family members for symptoms upon entry to our buildings. You will be given a mask to wear during your visit. We have designated spaces for waiting and have increased our already thorough cleaning protocols.
Telehealth Visits
We offer telehealth visits for ill concerns or to follow-up on routine issues like asthma and ADHD for patients at the Pediatric Primary Care Center, Hopple Street Neighborhood Health Center, Fairfield Primary Care Clinic and Rockdale Academy School-Based Health Center. Here are two ways to get started on using this service:
- Contact our nurse triage line by calling your child’s regular office.
- Text PPC1 to 513-803-8353 for instructions on how to download the free app.
School-Based Health Centers
Rockdale Academy School-Based Health Center is open Monday-Friday, and South Avondale has reopened. Hughes STEM is temporarily closed. Families of patients who usually go to Hughes STEM should contact the Rockdale Academy School-Based Health Center for care at this time.
Children’s Health Care of Batesville and Greensburg
In addition to precautions mentioned above, we are also encouraging families to wait in their car after check-in until a room is ready.
We are offering telehealth visits or phone visits for ill concerns or to follow-up on routine issues like asthma and ADHD.
