PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency Program Structure

The Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center PGY2 Residency Program is structured to provide one month of orientation at the beginning of the residency. Three of the four required clinical rotations (Two general pediatrics; two critical care) are completed in the first half of the residency unless scheduling restrictions occur. The final required clinical rotation and the four electives are completed in the second half of the residency, unless scheduling restrictions occur. A dedicated project month is scheduled approximately halfway through the residency. The ambulatory care and committee experiences are longitudinal experiences. Residents are required to staff every third weekend throughout the residency.
