Training the Next Generation of Informaticists
The Clinical Informatics Fellowship program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is a two-year ACGME accredited program designed to train the next generation of clinical informaticists to apply information technology toward transforming patient care and improving clinical outcomes. We are seeking trainees who will enrich the diversity of voices and perspectives in our local, regional, and national informatics community. Our program provides rigorous training in clinical informatics, improvement science, and research methodology alongside opportunities to apply these developing skills as embedded members of operational, quality, and information services teams at a leading pediatric academic medical center. Fellows are prepared for certification in the clinical informatics subspecialty and equipped to be innovative leaders in the use of information and technology within health systems.
Our program aims to increase diversity and representation among the clinical informatics workforce. We work to create equitable conditions to growth and an inclusive learning environment for all. Learn more about our institutional DEI effort.
