2025 Scratch Golf Camp
Camp Details
In partnership with First Tee - Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky and the Congenital Heart Alliance of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Children's Heart Institute patients are eligible to be considered for FREE summer golf camp. Participants who are accepted into this free camp will attend a three-day Scratch Golf camp followed by the First Tee program for six weeks.
Scratch Golf camp is open to Congenital Heart Disease patients and Center for Better Health and Nutrition patients, ages 7-14. Consideration for admittance to camp is based upon review from our medical staff.
Participants must commit to a three-day Scratch Golf camp. The three-day camp takes place Thursday, July 31, Friday, August 1, and Saturday, August 2 at Reeves Golf Course.
All participants must commit to a session of the First Tee Program, which meets once a week for six weeks following the three-day Scratch Golf camp (begins the week of September 8). Days, times and locations vary by age. Participants may select their preferred location during registration.
Registration
New and returning participants will register for the First Tee program through First Tee - Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky directly.

To receive the incentives, participants must be present for the length of the three-day Scratch Golf camp and for at least five of the six First Tee classes.

Considerations

- Transportation to and from camp will not be provided.
About the Congenital Heart Alliance of Cincinnati
The efforts of the Congenital Heart Alliance of Cincinnati are aimed primarily on supporting clinical, translational and basic investigations intended to advance pediatric cardiovascular medicine. The Scratch Golf camp mission is to help congenital heart defect kids and children identified as at risk for future heart disease socially, mentally and physically through golf. The goal is to meet new friends, take a mental break from medical issues and learn some important life lessons through golf.

First Tee is a nationally recognized non-profit youth development program that uses golf as a platform to help teach kids important character-building life skills, core values and healthy habits which they can use throughout their lives on and off the golf course.
