Conditions Treated by the Eating Disorders Program
The Eating Disorders Program provides comprehensive care for all types of eating disorders. These disorders include:
- Anorexia nervosa
- Bulimia nervosa
- Avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID)—When a person places extreme limits on what types and amounts of food they eat, but not because of body image concerns
- Binge eating disorder—When a person repeatedly eats much more food than most people would
- Female Athlete Triad—When a female athlete doesn’t eat enough to support her body’s needs
- Orthorexia—When a person is obsessed with proper, healthy eating
- Eating disorders not otherwise specified (EDNOW)
