Non-Tuberculous Mycobacterium Clinic

Cystic Fibrosis Non-Tuberculous Mycobacterium (CF-NTM) Clinic

The Cystic Fibrosis Non-Tuberculous Mycobacterium (CF-NTM) Clinic at Cincinnati Children's specializes in treating Non-Tuberculous Mycobacteria (NTM), a rare, yet difficult to treat bacteria that can require long and complicated treatment regimens. Mycobacterium abscessus and Mycobacterium avium (MAC) are the two most common types of NTM in people with cystic fibrosis (CF). Due to the complexity of treatment, we designed a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary clinic specifically focused on NTM treatment in children with Cystic Fibrosis.
