Specialized Care for Patients with Known or Suspected Heart Rhythm Issues
When you or your child has a known or suspected heart rhythm issue, we’ll see you in the Arrhythmia Clinic. Part of the Cincinnati Children’s Heart Institute, our team evaluates, diagnoses and treats every kind of heart arrhythmia, whether it’s mild or severe.
What to Expect During Your First Visit
When we first see you in our clinic, we’ll evaluate your child’s heart rhythm using an electrocardiogram (EKG). Our pediatric cardiac electrophysiologists are doctors who specialize in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm abnormalities. They’ll use the results of your child’s EKG to determine the best course of treatment. After the EKG, we’ll talk with you to discuss what the test results show and suggest a plan of care.
Ongoing, Follow-up Care
If your child has been diagnosed with a heart rhythm disorder, you’ll come to this clinic for regular follow-up visits. We’ll monitor the condition over time to make sure your child is as heart-healthy as possible. We are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care for you and your family.
