Like most U.S. hospitals, Cincinnati Children's is affected by the IV fluid shortage caused by damage to Baxter International's North Carolina production facility during Hurricane Helene. Our teams will continue to watch this situation and will provide any updates as needed.
The core is equipped with a 275-channel whole-head CTF MEG system, situated inside a magnetically-shielded room. Users have the option of simultaneously collecting dense-array EEG during their MEG recordings, if desired.
We offer an array of stimulus (visual, auditory, tactile) presentation options and response devices (e.g., fiber optic button boxes), to accommodate various research studies. Our presentation and response peripherals are closely-matched to those used in MRI research. Visit the Imaging Research Center to learn more.
We have experience with a collection of proprietary/commercial and freely-available software that are used for MEG data analyses. Depending on the researcher’s needs/experience, we may direct you to one or more of the following: BESA 6, Brainstorm, BrainWave, CTF suite of tools, CURRY 7, FieldTrip, MATLAB and/or SPM8/12.
