Chronic Care Research Group
The Chronic Care Research Group brings together faculty and fellows focused on using health services methods to improve the care and outcomes of children and adolescents with chronic conditions and other special health care needs. Our goal is to create a welcoming community of researchers and strengthen each person’s work through feedback and collaboration. Current members include faculty from The James M. Anderson Center for Health Systems Excellence, Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology, Emergency Medicine, Patient Services, Hospital Medicine and Pastoral Care.
At regular meetings, members take turns presenting and seeking feedback on ideas, grants and manuscript drafts. We encourage creative thinking, constructive feedback and collegiality. Upon occasion, meetings are used to discuss topics of mutual interest, such as specific research methods or working with funders.
We welcome new members. Email Ellen Lipstein (ellen.lipstein@cchmc.org) for more information.
