Are you passionate about working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, and love the combination of clinical psychology and neuroscience? We may be the lab for you! Even though we do not currently have any open positions, we would still love to hear from you! Whether you are an undergraduate student looking for a post-baccalaureate research coordinator position or a graduate school student looking for a post doctoral fellowship, because the Schmitt lab works so closely with the Neurobehavioral Discovery Treatment Team and the Shaffer lab, there is always a potential we can welcome new members! Interested in participating in a study?
We are actively recruiting:
- Individuals with Fragile X Syndrome across the lifespan
- Adults with other developmental disabilities (e.g., intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, Down Syndrome, William Syndrome, etc.)
- Adults controls without history of developmental disability in themselves or their first-degree relatives.
