Beebe Lab and the STEAM Team

The Beebe Lab is committed to collaboration and lifelong learning. Led by Dr. Beebe, the core lab team includes Clinical Research Coordinators and Postdoctoral Fellows. However, the lab’s work extends well beyond Behavioral Medicine and the walls of Children’s Hospital. Each summer, we assemble a diverse group of 25-30 young, intellectually curious people—often college students—to assist with weekend evening data collection for the STEAM study. This study runs throughout the summer, providing team members with opportunities to learn, grow, and connect with each other. Although it is careful, we try to keep the setting fun. Some team members have chosen to come back year after year, and multiple long-term friendships have emerged from the team interactions.

Each team member brings unique talents, skills, and interests. To support their development, Dr. Beebe leads weekly didactic sessions on topics like sleep, neuropsychology, and more. If you’re interested in joining, please contact us in January or February.
