Making a cash gift by check or credit card benefits the children and families of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center immediately. In addition, these gifts qualify for federal tax deductions. For tax purposes, a gift of cash is considered to be made on the date it is postmarked, submitted online or hand-delivered. Making a gift of securities (.pdf) offers you the chance to help our organization while realizing benefits for yourself. Recognize special people in your life with a memorial or tribute gift to Cincinnati Children’s. It’s a great way to honor your loved one and help sick children at the same time. Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center will acknowledge your memorial or tribute gift by sending an appropriate note to the family or friend in whose name the gift was made. Promotions that Give Back
- Kohls: Stop by a local Kohl’s to purchase special holiday merchandise. Each item costs just $5. All net proceeds from the sale of these items will be donated to Cincinnati Children’s.
- Speedway: Spare some change? Next time you stop at a Speedway to fill your tank, drop your change in the jar to help change the outcome for sick kids.
- Remke Markets: Help Cincinnati Children’s by shopping at any Remke location in Ohio. When you use your reusable bags at Remke Markets, you’ll receive 6 cents off of your order and a token. Put your token in the Cincinnati Children’s bucket and an additional 6 cents will benefit our patients.

Corporate gifts play an important role in supporting the care we provide to thousands of children and families each year. A philanthropic partnership with Cincinnati Children's provides businesses with the opportunity to support research, clinical care, charitable or community services or other programs and initiatives at the hospital that showcase the company's commitment to improving the health and welfare of children. Many companies offer a matching gift program to their employees, employees’ spouses or retirees. Through these programs, a company will match charitable contributions made by their employees to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, a nonprofit organization.
Matching gift programs are a tremendous opportunity to double, or even triple, the impact of your gift!
For example, a donor who works for a company with a matching gift program decides to make a $100 gift to Cincinnati Children’s. The donor’s company will match the $100 gift to the medical center, for a total of $200.
