Members of the pediatric palliative care team at Cincinnati Children’s are identified as leaders in quality improvement (QI) and safety in our field: in 2017, we hosted the inaugural “QI Methods in Pediatric Palliative Care” workshop, and for the past 3 years, our team members have won the AAP Section of Hospice and Palliative Medicine Young Investigator Award at the AAP Conference, for QI work.
