Subspecialty Fellowship Training Programs
The Division of Pediatric Surgery at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center has established several training programs in which individuals participate in the broad clinical and academic experiences offered by specialized centers under the division. These positions are designed to be filled by general-surgery-trained individuals who come for one-year specialized experiences, serving as fellows for one of several specialty centers. Alternatively, trained pediatric surgeons who desire additional specialized experience may fill these subspecialty fellowship positions.
These subspecialty fellowship training programs are available:
- Vascular Anomalies Fellowship Training Program
- ECMO Fellowship Training Program
- Colorectal Fellowship Training Program
- Fetal Surgery Fellowship Training Program
- Pediatric Trauma Fellowship Training Program
- International Fellowship Training Program
If you wish to be considered for one of these positions, contact our program specialist, Meghan Wiesner, meghan.wiesner@cchmc.org.
The requirements for application are a curriculum vitae and two letters of recommendations from surgeons (preferably one from a pediatric surgeon). You must also be eligible to obtain an Ohio training certificate. These requirements include a valid ECFMG certificate (if applicable). Check the website for the Ohio State Medical Board for more information.
