To apply for the Nephrology / Hypertension Fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, complete and return a fellowship application. You can complete an application online through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
The Interview and Acceptance Process
The Division of Nephrology and Hypertension accepts three fellows each academic year. Application reviews begin in July, with interviews scheduled in August through November. Matches are made in December and January. Those selected for the fellowship program begin their training July 1 of the following year.
Potential fellows are strongly urged to interview in person. The Division of Nephrology and Hypertension provides candidates with one night’s lodging in Cincinnati.
Generally, the interview involves all of the division’s faculty and fellows. If the candidate has a specific research interest in one of the focus areas, we will arrange a visit with the cooperating faculty in that area.
The University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension are committed to the recruitment, training and success of underrepresented groups and women in biomedical research. Applications from such candidates are particularly encouraged.
