About

Biography

I am a clinical counselor providing school-based mental health services. I work with children and teens struggling with daily life stressors related to family, peers and school. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and working with teenagers diagnosed with anxiety, depression and adjustment disorder. I am also a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with supervisor endorsement (LPCC-S).

I spent most of my childhood wanting to be a teacher, as both of my parents were educators. However, over time, I realized that my passion was not teaching but guiding and helping people become the best version of themselves. Sometimes, kids need an additional support person to help navigate challenges. I love working with children and enjoy watching them grow and develop, especially through their high school career.

Therapy entails a purposeful look at how your child’s thoughts, feelings and behaviors impact them. It involves education, problem-solving and practicing learned coping skills. My philosophy for therapy is to guide your child as they reflect and grow as a person. I give them the tools to be successful, learn to navigate life’s challenges and heal from struggles.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters. I also enjoy playing golf and traveling when I can.
