Cincinnati Children's is conducting a research study to evaluate the efficacy of repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) in reducing treatment resistant depressive symptoms in people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We want to better understand how to treat depression for those diagnosed with ASD.

This study includes 10 study visits at Cincinnati Children’s over 14 weeks. Here are some of the things that will happen in this study.
You or your child will be asked to:
You, or your child as the participant, will be receiving a treatment that is FDA approved to treat depression in adults and adolescents, and it is likely you may receive a benefit from this therapy. However, there is no guarantee that you will benefit from participating in this study.
Possible risks and discomforts will be discussed with adult participants, parents or guardians interested in learning more about the study.
Participants will receive up to $650 for participation in this study.
