Cincinnati Children's is conducting a survey study (can be completed remotely and takes about 10 minutes) that looks at what parents and adolescents think about medical decision making.
Parents and their adolescents 12 to 17 years old who are receiving care for a chronic condition and had or discussed a treatment change (including changing, starting, or stopping a medication) during a recent visit may be eligible to participate. (Chronic condition examples include ADHD, asthma, eczema, IBD, diabetes, etc.)
Participating in this research study will involve you and/or your child completing a survey. Here are the survey details:
There are no direct benefits to you or your child from taking part in this study, but the results will help us develop a reliable and valid survey that can be easily used in clinical settings.
There is little to no risk to participating in this study. We can discuss any concerns that you might have with you.
Each participant (both parent and adolescent) will receive a $20 Target or Kroger gift card.
