Providers want to give the best care they can

• Providers don’t always know about other responsibilities/difficulties unless you share your concerns
• If a patient says they are taking their medication when they are not, the doctor may prescribe more medication
• Children are experts on their bodies/routines and know what works for them
• Treatments are managed in the home a majority of the time
• If you do not share your concerns, then providers will think that everything is okay
