Improvements make it easier than ever to find a doctor
Significant updates are happening on www.cincinnatichildrens.org, including a new mobile-first design to provider bios and improvements in the way patients and families select a doctor. The updates went live on August 14.
The newly designed Find a Doctor tool provides a way to filter results by:
- Primary care or specialist
- Specialty
- Locations
- Gender
- Languages spoken*
Search results now display provider photos and locations. If the provider has appointments available, a request/make-an-appointment button appears with a link to MyChart for existing patients and a request form for new patients, which is auto-populated with the doctor’s name.
The newly designed provider bios includes new features:
- A modern, mobile-first design
- A request/make-an-appointment button
- A map showing the locations where the doctor sees patients
- An automated feed of blog posts written by the clinician
The web bio and find-a-doctor redesign is one of many planned improvements in the ongoing phased redesign of our website to serve our patients and families.
