ECHO Autism offers support for community providers

ECHOIf you’re looking for resources to help you care for your patients with autism, Cincinnati Children’s ECHO Autism offers a solution.

ECHO Autism is a virtual learning network of medical providers designed to bring the best autism care to your primary care practice. It can help you:

  • Boost your confidence in identifying and treating autism symptoms
  • Expand your knowledge about behavioral treatments

You’ll get real-time access to autism and behavioral experts at the medical center, including a developmental and behavioral pediatrician; a clinical child psychologist; resource coordinator/social worker, and a parent advocate/educator.

How it works
Members meet twice monthly online on the first and third Wednesday of the month, from noon to 1:30 pm EST. There are short, evidence-based topic presentations, e.g., sleep, GI, behavior issues, school problems, medication management, etc. You’ll also have the opportunity to discuss complex cases in your practice for real-time advice from experts. And you can earn CME, ABP MOC Part 2 or CNE credits

To get started, you’ll need internet access and a front-facing camera on a smartphone, tablet or computer/webcam.

To sign up, contact Terry Mitchell at terry.mitchell@cchmc.org or 513-636-1665.
