Urgent care offers save-your-spot technology
Beginning August 1, patients and families will wait where they want when coming to any of Cincinnati Children’s Urgent Care locations. The choice is theirs, thanks to a new online queuing system that estimates arrival times for all five locations—Burnet, Liberty, Green, Mason and Anderson.
Families can choose a preferred or next-available time slot and an Urgent Care location based on the wait. The selected time is an estimate of when they’ll actually be seen by a provider. (Note: It’s recommended to arrive 15 minutes beforehand.)
Once in the waiting area, each patient can track where they are in line on a digital screen. Kids with higher acuity illness or injuries will still be seen first.
