Cincinnati Children’s partners at Kettering Health locations
Cincinnati Children’s has taken another step to deliver great care close to home for our patients and families in the Dayton area by expanding our relationship and services with the Kettering Health. The partnership builds on the neonatology support we have provide to their NICU over the years.
Last week, the Center for Better Health and Nutrition opened on the Kettering Health - Main Campus. Part of the Heart Institute, this program supports healthy lifestyle behaviors of children age 19 and younger, who are overweight or obese. Families will benefit from meal planning and nutrition counseling, study of underlying causes of weight gain and obesity-related medical conditions, and counseling on fitness, movement and skill development.
On October 3, the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Clinic will open to provide lifelong surveillance and to prevent or manage complications for patients with the most complex congenital heart defects. The clinic will follow patients transitioned from pediatric care throughout adulthood.
On October 19, the Pediatric Urology Clinic will open at Kettering Health's Beavercreek Health Center. It will deliver comprehensive, urologic services for medical and surgical diseases affecting the urinary and genital tracts.
