Cincinnati Children's Heart Institute is offering a new location for children and adults with congenital heart defects in Madison, Indiana to access specialist care. Beginning October 15, 2020, pediatric cardiologist Brad Keller, MD will see patients on the second Thursday of each month.
This new clinic location will expand the Heart Institute’s footprint in the Southern Indiana and Greater Louisville area and offer expanded cardiology access and expertise. Other regional Heart Institute locations include: Louisville, Elizabethtown, Bardstown, Danville, La Grange and Shelbyville.
“Rural counties and smaller communities tend to have few pediatric specialty providers. Families sometimes have to drive more than an hour to reach specialty services like pediatric cardiology,” said Keller, who is the co-medical director of Cincinnati Children’s Heart Institute Greater Louisville and Western Kentucky practice. “Our goal is to provide cardiac services and convenient access – closer to home – to families. And they really appreciate it.”
The Heart Institute strives to provide all new patients with a pediatric and adult congenital heart evaluation within three days of requesting an appointment.
