Gilbert's Syndrome

What is Gilbert's Syndrome?

Gilbert's syndrome is a condition that causes high bilirubin levels in the blood. Bilirubin is made when old red blood cells break down. Normally, your liver helps get rid of bilirubin in the stool, but with Gilbert's Syndrome, your liver can’t do this job as well.
