As a physician, I specialize in general pediatrics. I ensure the health and well-being of patients through regular checkups, preventative screenings, vaccinations, sick visits and addressing mental health needs. I care for patients from infancy to adolescence and work with their families to provide medical advice, resources and parenting support.
Growing up, I never pictured myself as anything other than a pediatrician and I love what I do! I'm very laid back, sincere and compassionate. I believe every child deserves high-quality medical care, and I advocate for their needs while using evidence-based medicine. I aim to provide a safe space for patients to openly communicate their questions and concerns, with the expectation that I will always provide honest feedback.
I'm very focused on patient-centered care. It's a team effort between the family, the patient and myself to formulate individualized treatment plans. Communication is essential as every child is different and their needs can vary. I want families to know that I have their best interest at heart. I like to check in to see how they're feeling and if they need any info repeated or explained differently.
In addition to being a pediatrician, I'm a wife and mom. We're always busy with the kiddos' school activities and sports. We're a big soccer family, so we go to many soccer events, and more recently gymnastics and cheer. I also enjoy walking and Zumba!
