I specialize in caring for children and young adults with neurodevelopmental differences, especially autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and Down syndrome. I believe every patient and every family has a story worth hearing and worth investing in. I want to meet families where they are and help guide them to where they want to be.
My father was a family medicine doctor in the small town where I grew up. I loved that he was so dedicated to helping others and learned that it’s a privilege to walk with a family through their medical journey over the years.
During my medical training, I was particularly amazed by the love, strength and grace of children and families with developmental disabilities. I wanted to find ways to help and better support those families and thus pursued developmental pediatrics.
As a developmental-behavioral pediatrician, I focus on helping families find the correct diagnosis to explain their child's challenges, manage the medical complications of neurodevelopmental diagnoses, and connect patients with community supports.
I grew up in central Florida, right next to Disney World and studied Spanish in college. In my free time, I love to travel with my family and explore new places to eat dessert!
