My main focus is in the area of primary care redesign. I am involved in collaboration with other primary care leaders in redesigning the system of care delivery to improve health promotion and prevention, access to medical care, outcomes for children with chronic disease, and patient and family experience, while decreasing the cost of care at a population level. My role focuses on improving primary care preventive service delivery to the patient population I serve, and I co-lead the Thrive By Five improvement initiative, a SP2020 Community Health Pillar goal, that aims at ensuring all five-year-olds have a healthy body and mind at kindergarten entry.
