About

Biography

As a pediatric rehab and sports medicine physician, I am a doctor of function. Whether in sports medicine or pediatric rehabilitation, my goal is to help improve function and allow pediatric patients to do the activities they want to do. I care for general rehab patients, patients with cerebral palsy and brain injuries, and those with baclofen pumps. I also perform Botox and phenol injections.

I have always been fascinated by the body's muscle and bone structures and nerve systems. During medical school, I knew I wanted to work with pediatric patients. I work closely with families to assist them in achieving their goals. I completed my residency at Cincinnati Children's, where I was trained in general pediatrics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and pediatric rehabilitation medicine. I gained in-depth knowledge of pediatric patients and the musculoskeletal and neurological systems to achieve my goals. I then completed my fellowship training in sports medicine, where I cared for high school and college athletes.

My goal is to help children of all functional and athletic levels join the activities and sports that bring them joy. I also have a passion for adaptive sports and video gaming. I aim to give the best care to adaptive athletes, help grow the community and increase access to these activities.

When not in the clinic, I enjoy hiking, traveling, reading, watching movies, playing video games and spending time with friends and family. I also volunteer for local organizations that support adaptive sports and adaptive video gaming.
