I’m a nurse practitioner (NP) at the Community Health Services Network. I see patients of all ages for well checks and sick visits, keeping an open mind as I listen carefully to their needs and concerns. My clinical specialty is pediatric patients with conditions affecting the breastbone, such as pectus excavatum and pectus carinatum.
Since childhood, my goal has been to help people and make them feel better. It was important for me to become a nurse practitioner so that I have the chance to diagnose patients and provide necessary treatments to help them get better. I have a love for children and enjoy working with them because of their different personalities. Kids are so open and honest. I also believe in providing family-centered care. Patients and their families bring me such joy, and their smiles are contagious!
I transitioned to the outpatient NP role after working for the General Thoracic and Pediatric Surgery Department for 11 years. I have worked at Cincinnati Children's since 2006 when I started as a nurse in the operating and recovery rooms.
When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, exercising and being with family and friends.
