I’m a certified pediatric nurse practitioner and a pediatric mental health specialist with a clinical specialty in adolescent medicine.

I’ve been passionate about helping others and helping communities since childhood. I also have a passion for caring for individuals who identify as having multicultural experiences, as I was raised in a multiethnic family.

My goal in providing care is to help patients feel like their best selves. Health is the foundation that individuals can build on. I strive to teach my patients about their health and to empower them to make informed medical decisions that best suit their needs. I also pride myself on creating a safe space for adolescents to share their concerns and ask questions.

I want patients and families to know that I’m interested in meeting them where they are. I love helping teenagers figure out who they are as people and supporting them in achieving their dreams. In a perfect world, I would love for all adolescents to have five trusted adults whom they can go to with their questions or concerns. I aim to be one of those trusted adults in a teenager’s life.

I was honored to be the inaugural recipient of the Early Advanced Practice Career Award by the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners in spring 2023. I was also honored to receive the 2021 Excellence in Nursing Community Award from Pittsburgh Magazine.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my beloved rescue chihuahua. I also enjoy watching sports and taking pilates classes.
