About

Biography

I'm a pediatric dentist interested in all aspects of pediatric dentistry. Beyond the classic principle of "do no harm," I believe in treating children in the same manner I would want my own children to be treated.

My interest in specializing in pediatrics stems from my experience with Dr. Wil Nation of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, a faculty member I came in contact with while in dental school. He opened my eyes to the wide variety of treatment options available to children that I would be able to provide if I went on to specialty training.

My background includes a variety of experiences, from teaching dental students to being the dental director of a community clinic to 27 years as the managing partner of a three-doctor group practice. While I've been honored with induction into several prestigious dental honor societies, the Distinguished Service Award from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (2024) is the one I'm most humbled to receive.

Outside work, I love to go on long walks with my wife, Kari and our white Labrador, Bella. I also look forward to long solo bike rides along the Little Miami River.
