I’m a pediatric psychologist, with a focus on promoting behavior and development in the primary care setting. I have experience delivering individual and family-based services for patients of various ages with a variety of presenting concerns, including behavioral, anxiety, mood disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and sleeping difficulties. I enjoy working within a primary care setting because it allows me to connect with children, adolescents and families in an easily accessible place.
Early learning experiences play a significant role in shaping overall behavioral and social-emotional development. It often takes a community effort to create an environment that fosters success. My role is to join a family’s team to support their unique goals for their child’s development. When working with families, I like to follow a collaborative approach to care. Specifically, I hold knowledge of evidence-based practices, and families hold the knowledge and expertise of their daily lives. Working in partnership ensures we build on existing strengths to promote overall emotional, behavioral and physical health. My goal is to develop and reinforce practical skills that help individuals navigate life’s stressors so they can continue to engage in daily activities that are important to them.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, traveling, trying out restaurants and hiking all year round.
