I am a nurse practitioner in the newborn intensive care unit (NICU).

As a nursing student, I loved working in the NICU. A few years later, when my own son was in the NICU, I knew I wanted to work there. I have been in the NICU ever since, providing the care for each baby that I would want given to my own child.

We have advanced practice providers (APPs) who work in maternity hospital sites throughout the area. As the NICU educator for these professionals, I train our APPs here at Cincinnati Children’s NICU, as well as those who cover Good Samaritan NICU, Bethesda North Special Care Nursery, Kettering Medical Center NICU and St. Elizabeth NICU. I provide routine education, help APPs maintain their certifications and manage orientations for new APPs.

When not at work, I love to spend time with my children. I also have three dogs and would have more if I could!
