Mona Choueiry, MD

I’m a pediatrician, specializing in general pediatrics with interest in pediatric infectious diseases. Prevention is essential, and I'm grateful for the many milestones we've reached in medicine, especially with vaccines.

I was born and raised in Lebanon. With my father's encouragement and support from my mom and siblings, I became the first in my family to go to college and then came to the United States for my pediatric residency and fellowship.

For me, pediatrics is about building relationships and trust. As a mom of two (now grown-ups), I know what it’s like to be a parent. Issues breastfeeding? I’ve been there. Crying after sending a child to daycare for the first time? I did that, too. My passion for the present and future health and wellness of children has evolved into practicing pediatrics for nearly 30 years. And all those baby smiles keep me coming back.

I love spending time with my family and playing and watching soccer. I look forward to hiking the mountains in Lebanon when I travel to see my family.
