I enjoy working with children and have always been intrigued by medicine and the human body. I find it rewarding to positively influence both the patient and the family as a whole.
As a nurse practitioner, I care for children and adolescents who are having surgery and those in the Aerodigestive and Esophageal Center. We have the multidisciplinary expertise to treat even the most complex esophageal, airway, pulmonary, upper digestive tract, sleep and feeding disorders. People from all over the world come to our center for our expertise. We do our best to treat our patients the way we would want our own children to be treated, and we not only care about the patient, but also their family.
My care philosophy is to treat the whole patient. I do my best to make patients feel comfortable with me and try to normalize the hospital care experience as much as possible. I make a point to get to know my patients — not just through their physical chart but their personal interests, friends and family.
I like all sports, and in my spare time, I enjoy coaching soccer and volleyball. I also love spending time with my three children.
