Catherine Bridges, MD

I specialize in pediatric dermatology. My interests are general pediatric dermatology, atopic dermatitis (eczema) and hemangiomas. I also perform procedures, including laser treatments, surgical removal of skin lesions and skin injections. I see patients at the Green Township and Main Campus Cincinnati Children's locations.

I was always the "science nerd" in school, and I knew I wanted to help people directly. I love being a doctor and providing face-to-face care. Working with children is a blessing – there is no greater service than helping a child feel better. I love getting to know my patients and their families.

I place much value on patient and family education. All families want the best for their children, and I like providing them with information and tools to help kids stay healthy. It's also important to make kids feel comfortable at the doctor's office by including them in the conversation, providing distraction techniques and making the visit interactive.

It's my honor to be a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Society, which inducts physicians of academic excellence, and the Gold Humanism Honor Society, which inducts physicians who display compassion towards patients and exemplify humanism. I'm also honored to have won the Mutism Humanism Award given during residency to a physician who exemplifies humanism and compassion in medicine.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and our dachshund dog, Sally. I love to travel and spend time tending to my flower garden. I'm always up for a scoop of Graeter's ice cream and a football game!
