Human Genetics Residency Program

Thanks to a combination of size and diversity of services in the Division of Human Genetics, Cincinnati Children's can offer residents unparalleled training and experience.The Division of Human Genetics at Cincinnati Children's is the largest pediatric genetics program in the nation. Along with our pediatric service, we provide high-level care to adults through the Prenatal Program and Hereditary Cancer Program. The Division of Human Genetics is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (AC GME) to provide a two-year Medical Genetics Residency and a four-year Combined Pediatrics / Genetics Residency (components individually accredited) program. The two-year Medical Genetics residency is for candidates who have already completed another residency, usually in pediatrics.
