About

Biography

As a pediatric urologist, I practice general pediatric urology and fetal urology. I treat children with spina bifida, neurogenic bladder and posterior urethral valves. In addition, I perform surgeries for complex genitourinary reconstruction, renal transplantation and hypospadias. I offer laparoscopic or robotic surgery as an option when possible.

I was inspired to pursue my career by my desire to help children live a healthy life and reach their full potential. In my practice, we work to provide holistic and coordinated care for every patient that we are privileged to care for. Each child’s well-being is very important to us.

I’m honored to have been inducted into the Croatian Society of Pediatric Surgery as an honorary member for services I provided to advance the field of pediatric urology.

In addition to helping my patients, I’m involved in research. My colleagues and I are seeking to develop a test to assess bladder function in a noninvasive manner. We also hope to develop a better understanding of how a normal bladder is formed, which will help us manage abnormal and unhealthy bladders.

In my free time, I am an avid photographer. I also enjoy traveling to new places with my family.
