Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency

The Cincinnati Children’s Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency is designed to develop orthopedic specialists in the field of physical therapy through a multi-faceted program dedicated to honing advanced clinical skills and expanding orthopedic knowledge in an environment that fosters passionate learning.

The mission of the residency is to create leaders and innovators in the ever-growing field of orthopedic physical therapy by exposing residents to numerous opportunities and experiences within the pediatric patient population, including:

  • exposure to several unique specialty physical therapy clinics, community outreach and injury prevention programs
  • involvement in exciting research opportunities

We want our graduates to be emerging leaders in the field of orthopedic physical therapy.

Initially accredited in 2011 and recredentialed in 2016, our current accreditation is valid through 2026 through the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education (ABPTRFE).
